ABOUT DR. INOUE
Dr. Inoue holds Doctor of Dental surgery from Tokyo Dental Collage. His interest is occlusion and he studied it from Dr. Sato Sadao, who was academic dean at Kanagawa Dental College in San Francisco in 2016. He emphasizes diagnosis before treatments the most. He believes examination is necessary for precise diagnosis, it includes analysis of jaw movement called condylograph.
CAVITY TREATMENT
Various methods to treat cavities exist, however it is very important to diagnose the stage of your cavity before any type of treatment. Diagnosis can be performed by analyzing the situation and type of pain you are experiencing (or if you are even experiencing any pain at all because some cavities can be completely asymptomatic). For example, perhaps pain is felt on biting, when eating cold/hot/sweet foods, or when lying down. Perhaps the pain is dull, sharp, or even throbbing. Treatment also varies between intermittent and continuous pain. These symptoms will help lead to proper diagnosis, where we will provide you with possible treatment options (i.e. cavity removal, root canal, extraction) as well as restorative options (i.e. direct/indirect fillings, crowns, bridges, dentures, and implants) and you can select the most suitable course of treatment for yourself.
TEETH WHITENING
Many factors contribute to tooth discoloration. These can be external sources such as such as coffee, tea, and red wine or just general aging. Whitening treatment is recommended for achieving natural-looking white teeth. We provide home whitening kits where you can simply and safely whiten your teeth in the comfort of your own home for a very reasonable price.
PERIODONTAL DISEASE
Whether it is mild or severe, bleeding gums, tooth sensitivity, pain on biting, and bad odor, are all symptoms of periodontal disease. If left untreated, periodontal disease can dissolve the bone around the tooth leading to its loss. In severe cases, bone loss may be so extensive that implant treatment may not be a viable option for restoration. Unfortunately, the development of periodontal disease is a part of the aging process. It is recommended that you get treated from early stages to stop or slow down its progression. At Kobayashi Dental Clinic, we offer the Dental drug delivery system (3DS), which is used to decrease the number of periodontal disease causing bacteria in the oral cavity. We suggest this system to be used to supplement the conventional periodontal treatment.
